Till November 26, 2023 you can see my painting ‘Cooling Down' in the Woodson Art Museum in Wausau (Wisconsin, USA). And after this amazing show it will stay for a longer period of time in the USA... The reason for this, is that 'Cooling Down' has been selected for the Birds in Art tour. In 2024 it will be shown in the Forest Preserve District of Will County, Plum Creek Nature Center, Joliet, Illinois (January 2 – February 25, 2024); Newington-Cropsey Foundation, Hastings-on-Hudson, New York (March 22 – May 19, 2024); Mabee-Gerrer Museum of Art, Shawnee, Oklahoma (June 14 – August 11, 2024); and Wichita Falls Museum of Art, Wichita Falls, Texas (September 7 – December 7, 2024).

With the annual exhibition 'Natural Nature' Gallery Staphorsius in Westzaan (The Netherlands) show a wide variety of artworks. Wildlife art, landscapes, paintings of country life, … but always with nature as matching theme. During this nice exhibition my painting ‘Dethroned' and some of my limited editions are shown.

PAST - Just like last year, one of my paintings is selected for the annual 'Birds in Art' exhibition at the Leigh Yawkey Woodson Art Museum in Wausau, Wisconsin (USA). This year’s exhibition features original paintings, sculptures, and graphics created by 112 artists from across the world, all of which were completed within the last three years. I feel honored that my painting ‘Cooling down’ will be part of this internationally renowned exhibition. 'Birds in Art 2023' is on view Saturday, September 9 through November 26, 2023. During the festive opening on September 9 (9am -5pm), I’ll also be present. So maybe I’ll meet you there.

PAST - Just like last year, I will participate in the ‘Nieuwkoopse Kunstroute’. This means that, during the Whitsun weekend (May 27, 28 and 29), the doors of my atelier/gallery will be open for public. During these days you can see my paintings for real, meet me in person and discover were my artworks are made. But I will also reveal the paintings of my 'hidden collection’; 5 paintings that are never shown before. So if you are in the opportunity, you are more then welcome to bring a visit. When the weather is nice, the terrace will be open. From there you can enjoy the typical Dutch landscape with green meadows and grazing cows and sheep.  Coffee, tea, soft drinks and homemade apple pie will be available.

PAST - From November 20 the 'Flower Art Museum’ in Aalsmeer, The Netherlands will present 'Human Nature', an exhibition with the focus on the relationship between man and nature. It is an exhibition about art and nature, but also about ourselves and how we approach life. Several artist, including myself, will allow you to look at the world and the challenges of our time from a different perspective. 'Human Nature’ will be refreshing, confronting, touching and inspiring.

In addition to this exhibition there will be a special published magazine; a coproduction between the Flower Art Museum and Art by Nature magazine.

PAST - After a very successful MI ART EVENT last September, Gallery Mi will organize a new, winter edition. In the weekend of December 17 - 18, the old post office of Den Dolder will be transformed in a unique gallery. During this weekend you can see a very nice collection of sculptures, paintings and jewelry in a very nice ambience. Also several of my original paintings and limited editions will be shown and available for sale.

PAST - Since 1976, 'Birds in Art' is an international juried exhibition organized annually by the Woodson Art Museum in Wisconsin (USA). Approaching the exhibition’s milestone 50th anniversary, 'Birds in Art is recognized around the world as the exhibition that sets the standard for avian art. This year 118 artists from throughout the world will be included and will show their original paintings, sculptures, and graphics. Also my painted installation ‘Multicultural’ is selected and will be shown during the exhibition. The first day to view “Birds in Art” 2022 will be Saturday, September 10 (9am - 5pm). On this special day I also be present. Maybe I’ll see you there!
 

PAST - Why is the earth rotating? What's it all about? What drives us to participate in this rat race, that will ultimately turn out to be the same for everyone?
Is it power, friendship, money, passion, health, career, solidarity, …Or is it something else that hold the secret of life? During the annual exhibition ‘Artikel 27’, more than 40 international artist will give answer to this question. In their own visual language they will reflect on what it's all about. I'll show my paintings 'Handle with care' and 'Salvation'.

PAST - ARTrigin isn’t just another art gallery. Their main core is sustainability. ARTrigin cooperate with artist who are concerned with society or environmental issues and I’m one of them. From September 1st to 15th they will represent my work (eight limited editions) during the ESG ART SHOW at TICC Taipei International Convention Center.

During this special art event, all artworks will draw attention to social, environmental and human rights issues.

PAST - An Art event doesn't always has to be large to show a wide variety of artworks. 

Gallery Mi proves this. For one weekend, the old post office of Den Dolder breathes art. If you are in the opportunity it is definitely worth a visit.

PAST - From November 21 till December 12, a few of my paintings will be part of the group exhibition ‘Bella Ciao’ in the Belgium Heusden-Zolder.
During this exhibition more then 40 artist show their work and bring a tribute to the beauty and the freedom of thought.

The exhibition is closed on Monday. Every other day of the week its open from 14:00 - 18:00 hrs

PAST - In the past I also cooperated with 'Galerie Mi' in The Netherlands.

Now the gallery moved to a new location. It’s a beautiful space underneath the 'Bilthoven bookstore’, just beside the train station. For the opening of the new gallery, 'Galerie Mi' invited several artist to show their work. Also a few of my paintings will be shown. 

It's definitely worth to bring a visit.

PAST - After all the lockdowns I’m glad to be part of the Dreamscapes exhibition in the Sint-Aldegondischurch in As, Belgium.

This exhibition shows an amazing selection of artworks in the world of imaginary realism. 

If you are able to bring a visit, you can see my paintings 'Cooperation' and 'Captured beauty' and many beautiful paintings and sculptures from other international artists.

PAST - It isn’t evident to organize an art exhibition during these strange times. While the whole world suffers under the causes of Covid19, more and more events are canceled. Because of this, the Belgium organization ’Art27 vzw’ finds it even more important to organize their annual art exhibition ARTIKEL27. With all the necessary measures, a large variety of artworks from more then 40 (inter)national artist and a beautiful large building with enough space for ‘social distancing’, people are able to enjoy the power of art on a ‘virus proof’ way.

PAST - From the 14th of June till the end of September some of my paintings will be part of the ‘Dreamscapes’ exhibition in Viechtach, Germany. It’s the biggest exhibition for contemporary imaginary realism. With amazing artworks from 45 internationally known artists it will become an exhibition which is definitely worth a visit.

PAST - The FIRST ART FAIR is a sparkling New Year’s Fair for contemporary art, with a broad spectrum of high-level art. At the fair you will find painting and sculpture, glass, photography and jewelry from hundreds of renowned and young artists, spread over the stands of 30 selected galleries which focus on art that inspires and is made with passion and craftsmanship. If you’re able to bring a visit, definitely check out booth 21 where gallery De Vreugd and Hendriks also show some of my paintings.

PAST - For more then 20 years the Art & Antique Weekend will open its doors. From January 24 till 27, more then 65 galleries and art dealers will show a wide range of old, modern and contemporary art in the imposing "Grote” Church of Naarden-Vesting (The Netherlands). Galerie de Vreugd & Hendriks belongs to this select group of exhibitors. In booth number 17 the gallery will show a nice selection of contemporary realism, including some of my paintings.

PAST - As citizens of the 21st century our freedom of thought is very important. No one will determine what we do or think. Century-old traditions fade, standards change. On the other hand, we have never been monitored so much by trends, social media and anyone else who have our interests at heart. Or maybe not? With ‘ Free State of Mind ‘ the organization Art27 vzw gives artists the freedom to search for the true meaning of freedom of thought. From November 1-18, 42 contemporary artist give answer to this. I’ll also show two of my most recent paintings.

PAST - Affordable Art Fair Amsterdam returns in November 2018 for its 13th edition. With 75 local, national and international galleries exhibiting a fantastic range of contemporary art!

One of the participating galleries of this upcoming art fair is Galerie de Vreugd en Hendriks. In stand number B10 they will represent the artworks of several artists. Also a selection of my work will be shown.

PAST - In the weekend of May 18 - 21, 2018, Galerie De vreugd en Hendriks will represent some of my paintings during the ‘Kunst en Antiek’ event in the beautiful ambiance of Slot Zeist, The Netherlands.

During this event 20 antiquairs and art dealers from the upper segment of the market will show a wide range of contemporary art. But you can also find a beautiful collection of antique objects.

Galerie de Vreugd and Hendriks will show their carefully selected art collection in the beautiful ‘large room' on the first floor.

PAST - DREAMSCAPES is a traveling contemporary art exhibition, organized by Imaginary Realism, that starts of in Austria and will travel on to the Netherlands, Belgium and Germany. It’s the biggest exhibition for contemporary imaginary realism. More than 250 contemporary artworks from internationally known artists are shown at this 6th edition of the DREAMSCAPES exhibition. Also some of my paintings will be exhibited.

Along with the exhibition comes the beautiful new edition of the DREAMSCAPES Artbook with portfolios from all participating artists. I’m very proud that my work is included and even more that my painting ‘Burning desire’ is on the cover of this amazing book!

PAST - For nearly 20 years the Affordable Art Fair has sought to provide an open and friendly atmosphere to showcase the very latest in affordable, contemporary art from exciting new talents and well-established names. The 2017 edition of the Affordable Art Fair Amsterdam promises to be even bigger and brighter then before. From 2 - 5 November the fair will showcase 67 local, regional and international galleries with contemporary artists from all over the world. The fair has a fabulous range of contemporary art, all priced between €100 – €6,000
